At Work

May 24, 2010

I have two outdoor art shows in the next few weeks. They are the Riverdale Art Walk and Wingfest. Please see
Events for more information on these shows.

Besides getting the paintings ready for the show, I have to prepare my “booth.” And this is a whole other monster. The booth is 10′ x 10′ and needs to be portable with an easy set up. But really the big issue is that it has to fit into the Jeep. As in through the back window which is less than 4′ across. This has proved to be a challenge. Fortuantely, I have my brother’s help. He’s great with conceptual planning and woodworking. So together we are creating a simple structure that is sleek and best displays the paintings. As for how it handles in windy wet weather? Well, we’ll see.
