Only two things in the entire world will make Lizardo move: a warm sunbeam and Payanas. But now there was a third.
Today’s drawing: Watch Out For the Moose
I’ve drawn a moose before:
Sight based versus imagination. Both have their place. I draw better from my imagination because of my classical sight training, and I draw better from sight because my imagination allows for a less rigid line. Though not seen in this wildlife drawing, it does play out when I draw the human form or other still life objects.
As a side, “watch out for the moose,” is a constant utterance from the East coast. It is another way to say “be safe!”
