Gutterball

An image of M-J Kelley's drawing of a rabbit about to throw a gutterball.

InkTober 2021. Day 3.

No gutter, no gutter….NO GUTTER!

Mario Andretti, a successful race car driver, once said, “Don’t look at the wall. Your car goes where your eyes go.”

This drawing is called Gutterball for the very reason of misguided focus. It is very easy to focus on the worry and not on the win. Unfortunately, it’s a human condition. But one that we can workaround.

I have drawn many rabbits. They are extremely fun to draw, and the variety of design and pose is endless. They take on human emotions or conditions easily, as with Stockpile and I Got This!.

No doubt there are more rabbits on the way!
