InkTober – Day 9 – Fishbowl

October 9, 2019

I drew today’s image on the last page of my sketchbook. For some reason, the first and last pages are always special.

Today’s drawing: Fishbowl

M-J Kelley Studio - InkTober 2019 - Day 9 - Fishbowl

Fishbowl reminds me of my time in Cape Breton this August. I was on the water, and you could always hear and sometimes catch a glimpse of a fish popping out of the water. Cape Breton is beautiful, so of course, the fish are having a great time. The rocks and the bulrushes were along the shores. I used the foliage to emphasis the bowl shape and to keep the flow of movement within the drawing.
