It was hard to title this drawing. Part of me wanted to call it ‘Fanfare’ because the flowers reminded me of trumpets. It felt like there was an element of music to it. I also thought of ‘Homecoming’ because the scarf had a university pride pattern. I thought of ‘Parade’ and ‘In The Stands.’ However, I settled on ‘Tassels.’ That suited it best.
I love birds. I draw them all of the time. My travels up north allowed me to see quite a few large birds of prey — Bald Eagles in particular. This isn’t necessarily one, but it certainly is a large bird prepared for the colder weather.
