Today’s drawing: The Fledgling Leap
I have to admit I feel for Robins in spring. Being a fledgling is a right of passage; they hop along the ground until they figure out how to fly. It’s do or die!
Somehow this was timed with my recent purchase of a Venus Fly Trap plant. The large plant on the left reminds me of it a bit. Originally I had the rocks under the bird as it lept and no plants on the right. I changed that because the outcome would have been a bit bleak. But so is the life of a fledgling.
