Birds and their mom cuddled safely together. All tucked in.
As the weather changes, we are ourselves getting tucked in.
I heat my home with a wood stove (though I have baseboards as a backup). For the first time, I am ready. I am not stacking wood when snow is on the ground. I was proactive this year and ordered my wood in April. Sweet!
I have many outdoor chores, such as putting the garden to bed, drying herbs, saving seeds and storing bulbs for next year’s planters. The list is quite endless. But somehow, it all gets done, and the snow falls, and I feel tucked into this tiny warm little cottage.
