Artwork
A collection of various portfolios. The bulk of my work is in the Drawing/Storytelling and Figurative/Life Drawing collections. I have tried to keep it to just my favourites.
Drawing/Storytelling
The Drawing/Storytelling gallery is a collection of drawings from my imagination. Many have lead to stories and those have corresponding blog posts.
I draw every day, so this is the work that transpires in my sketchbook. My drawings for Another Failed Potion and Boom! Creek all have come from my sketchbooks.

Figurative/Life Drawing
The Figurative/Life drawing gallery is a collection of site-based work from non-instructional human form studio sessions.
I have been drawing the human form for thirty years and I really enjoy the quick studies, one-minute to five-minute drawings. There is just something about the energy of it. That is why most of what you see is “unfinished.” But is it? In a way, the short time was intended to capture the essence or energy of the pose or a part of the post that I found most interesting.

Wildlife
The Wildlife/Barn life gallery is a small collection. I don’t enjoy working from photographs very much so just a few highly detailed drawings.
Animals really stretch an artist’s ability. Very different techniques are applied to create the various textures for fur, skin, feathers etc.

Painting
The painting collection dates back many years. It includes gouache surreal paintings, en plein aire oil and gouache paintings, portraits painted in oil, and digitally painted drawings.
